Our Story
When I was a child in Belgium, there was one moment I always looked forward to: the moment my mother started making waffles.
The whole house would fill with their wonderful aroma, and those simple moments became some of my happiest childhood memories.
After moving to Romania, I realized how much I missed those moments. I had one simple wish: to share with others the emotions I had experienced as a child.
Not just a recipe, but the feeling of warmth, indulgence and togetherness that comes with a genuine waffle made with love.
That is how Oufti! Stephan's Belgian Waffles was born. A brand inspired by my Belgian roots, with a recipe created to preserve that spirit while adapting to today's tastes. Every waffle we prepare carries a little piece of this story.
Today, our greatest reward is seeing parents come with their children and create memories that may stay with them for a lifetime.
Why "Oufti!"?
"Oufti!" is a popular expression from the city of Liège, used whenever someone is surprised, amazed or impressed.
Liège is the city where I was born and the birthplace of the original recipe that inspired our waffles.
We hope it will also be your very first reaction when tasting our waffles.
